1. Debris Extraction: Thoroughly vacuum the dry soft top using a soft horsehair brush attachment to lift away loose dust and organic spores trapped deep inside the fiber valleys.
2. High-Lubricity Pre-Wash: Foam down the top using Foam Bath Wash & Shine Soap (Orange) to encapsulate and float surface oils away without driving them deeper into the weave.
3. Deep Fiber Agitation: Gently scrub the wet top using a specialized soft-bristled textile brush in straight, uniform lines. Avoid scrubbing in aggressive circular motions, which can fray delicate fabric threads. For heavily contaminated tops, use a highly diluted mixture of your multi-surface Shop Cleaner (Degreaser) to safely emulsify organic contaminants.
4. Flush & Structural De-Moisturizing: Pressure-rinse the top extensively from at least 18 inches away until the runoff water is perfectly clear of all soap suds. Allow the fabric to air-dry completely in a shaded environment before applying any defensive hydrophobic fiber sealants to lock out water absorption.
