ImportWorx at VJMU Sunday Sessions – A Classic JDM Celebration

On October 25, 2020, ImportWorx set up shop at the VJMU Sunday Sessions hosted by Vintage Japanese Motor Union at Love20Bee in Arcadia, CA. With our booth and flag on display, we joined a sea of legendary old-school JDM machines and passionate enthusiasts.

One of the show’s major highlights was our booth car, a blue Mazda REPU that took home the Best Truck award.

We promoted our Top Coat Graphene Ceramic Detail Spray, including a special showcase: Carlos from @soupragarage and Rex posed next to their MK3 Supra with our detail spray freshly applied to the hood.

The car lineup was stacked:

  • @super_jays_garage brought a light blue S13 drift car with wide wheels and aero. Nice Option 2 Sticker on the bumper!

  • Brian Jannusch from Top Rank Importers rolled in with an R33 Skyline GTR

  • A TOM'S livery Toyota Starlet made waves

  • @rxhead showed off the iconic yellow "2 Evil" FB RX-7

  • A Mazda R100, Kenmeri Skyline in red, and a black R32 GTR held it down for classics

  • Two red FD RX-7s, a wild Datsun 280Z with custom sheet metal widebody and bosozoku pipes, and a silver MK4 Supra all caught attention

  • Many more fun and uniquely styled rides like eddysmk2’s blue MK2 Supra rounded out the show

We also met Jorge Aguilera, who brought out his 1971 widebody Toyota Celica a.k.a. "Green Goblin" - a true standout.

As always, we snapped plenty of event photos and connected with the community.
